It is still available for a short time but there is no specific date yet on when Google will officially remove it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moving forward, Google urges webmasters to use the Rich Results Test tool to validate all structured data markups. Here\u2019s what you need to know about the Rich Results Test tool.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How does the Rich Results Test Work?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rich results (formerly known as rich card and rich snippets) are special types of search results that are different from the regular blue links in Google. <a href=\"https:\/\/seo-hacker.com\/create-structured-data-markup-rich-snippets\/\">It uses structured data<\/a> to identify which type of rich results a page is eligible for.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/search.google.com\/test\/rich-results\">In the Rich Results Test tool<\/a>, there are two options to validate; either via the specific URL of the page you want to check or a code snippet. It will also identify any errors that may hinder your webpage from appearing in the rich results. In my opinion, the structured data testing tool was a great tool on its own because I use markups that are not included yet in the rich results list.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Structured Data Testing tool was also great for debugging. And with the deprecation of the Structured Data Testing Tool, I do hope that they move the feature of being able to validate all types of structured data markup in the Rich Results Test.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Key Takeaway<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since rich results are visually appealing to users, they tend to get a large chunk of traffic from the search results similar to featured snippets.
