In short, properly utilizing GSC can take a website that is ranked very poorly and move it up the list, bringing in more visitors and converting them to customers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">This article will provide you with everything you need to know to use GSC and give your website an overhaul. Rich Cards similar to Structured Data, but they look much better. Visually, users are going to see a Rich Card and click it almost every time just because it\u2019s much more <a href=\"https:\/\/seo-hacker.com\/content-marketing-mix-content-layouting-design\/\">visually appealing<\/a> than even the best rich snippet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">Right now, the biggest downside to Rich Cards is that Google only allows them for movies and recipes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">If your website is connected to either, your web developer can add rich snippet information for any movies or recipes on the site. Again, there are examples out there you can find.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">GSC also has a Rich Cards area that analyzes your site to tell you where your Rich Cards aren\u2019t coded right. You can use it instead of Structured Data, and it does all the same things.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">It does have some limitations, though. You\u2019ll have to write tags for each individual URL, which means it can be a lot of work if you have hundreds or even thousands of webpages on your site.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">Here\u2019s how the Data Highlighter works:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">Click the Start Highlighting button.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">In the window that pops up, type in the website URL.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">Select the data to highlight.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">Google will now show you the webpage and let you highlight any data on it.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">Select the content to highlight. It can include the page title, images, ratings, reviews, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">You can then go on to highlight data on other webpages to create sets.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">HTML Improvements<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/seo-hacker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/HTML-Improvements.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-11028 lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/seo-hacker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/HTML-Improvements-1024x575.jpg\" alt=\"HTML Improvements\" width=\"1024\" height=\"575\" data-wp-pid=\"11028\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 1024px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 1024\/575;\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">GSC will generate a report called HTML Improvements that you can use to see where you can <a href=\"https:\/\/seo-hacker.com\/12-key-elements-website-improve-conversion-rate\/\">improve your website<\/a>. It shows things like missing or duplicate tags, meta descriptions that are too long or too short, and what content Google isn\u2019t able to index.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">All you have to do is fix these things and you may see your site improve in the rankings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">Here are some things Google may notice that you can easily correct:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">Make your page title at least 70 characters in length.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">Make your page description around 160 to 165 characters long.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">Give every page a unique description and title.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">Make sure Google can get to every page you want ranked.
