In the magazine, you only have a handful of articles, some photos for your perusal, and that\u2019s pretty much it. You don\u2019t have much of a choice when you want to read about something else. What\u2019s in the magazine is what you have.<\/p>\n<p>In the internet, things move way faster and the choices are limitless. You want to read about food? It\u2019s one search away. You saw a post in Facebook about Love? Click it. You want to <a title=\"Learn SEO\" href=\"https:\/\/seo-hacker.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">learn more about SEO<\/a>? It\u2019s all available \u2013 you don\u2019t have to buy another magazine. You don\u2019t have to stick with your newspaper. In the internet, information can be accessed and it is limitless.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do I know you?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What does all these tell you? Well, it simply means that if people don\u2019t like your content, they can easily click the \u2018x\u2019 button or the \u2018back\u2019 button and bounce off your page. They can easily move on to another site. They have choices \u2013 who are you to stop them?<\/p>\n<p>But it goes way before your content. It all starts with your title.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The 2 Second Rule<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If your title does not grab a visitor\u2019s attention in 2 seconds, you\u2019ll lose that person \u2013 probably forever. They have a lot of titles to go through in a day. It can be done using strong eye-catching words like <em>\u2018Sex\u2019, \u2018Discover\u2019, \u2018Free\u2019, \u2018Help\u2019, \u2018Know\u2019, \u2018Money\u2019, \u2018Powerful\u2019, \u2018Secret\u2019, \u2018Proven\u2019, \u2018Save\u2019, \u2018Trust\u2019, \u2018Understand\u2019<\/em>. These are most often used in internet copywritten articles as head-turners. Notice these words touch base in one way or another with the reader\u2019s emotions? Because if you want to grab attention, unless you\u2019re running a porn site, your words have to trigger your user\u2019s emotion.<\/p>\n<p>Now that you have their attention, what\u2019s the next step?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Create \u201cYes\u201d Content<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is the kind of content that gets people\u2019s heads nodding. The kind of content that backs-up your title and completes that emotion that your title has triggered. This is the kind of content that your users will say <em>\u201cyes, yes\u201d<\/em> to. <em>\u201cYes, that\u2019s exactly how I feel.\u201d<\/em>, or <em>\u201cYes that\u2019s where I am right now \u2013 what\u2019s your solution?\u201d<\/em>, or <em>\u201cYes that is just what I need!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Yes content is important because it brings your reader to your side. It establishes an emotional connection between you and your reader. It makes your readers relate to you and somehow it makes you someone who relates to them. Yes content helps build:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Loyalty<\/li>\n<li>Trust<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity<\/li>\n<li>Likeability<\/li>\n<li>Word of Mouth<\/li>\n<li>Branding<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In short, Yes content builds your readership. It builds a following \u2013 people who have emotionally touched base with you and what you\u2019ve written and are eager to read more of your stuff.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How does all this relate to SEO?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Simple.<\/p>\n<p>Without readers, you won\u2019t have any user activity. <a title=\"SEO Copywriting for User Experience\" href=\"https:\/\/seo-hacker.com\/seo-copywriting-user-experience\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">User activity<\/a> affects Author Rank and Dwell time Metrics.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dwell Time Metrics consist of:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bounce Rate<\/li>\n<li>Time on Site<\/li>\n<li>Page Views<\/li>\n<li>Social Engagement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These Dwell Time metrics sends a positive signal in your site\u2019s SEO and can cause and\/or verify rankings.
