The Science of Search<\/strong><\/p>\n

Some people accredit SEO copywriting to writing for search engines. I disagree. SEO copywriting is all about writing powerfully for people – to the point that you’re even considering what they are searching for. You see, focusing on the art of writing alone could mean a great article with savvy words and beautifully constructed sentences put together. But it can also mean that you can easily leave out the most powerful way for your article to be found by its target audience.<\/p>\n

SEO Copywriting infuses your article with the will to track down its audience<\/a>. How do you do it? That’s a great question.<\/p>\n

I’ve put together a list of powerful tutorials that you can use:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Know your audience – who are you writing for?<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Target the keywords that your audience is searching for.<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. Write it out. Write that powerful, useful, engaging content.<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. Optimize your content to the best of your ability for search engine friendliness.<\/a><\/li>\n
  5. Build powerful links to your content<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    All these links pertain to the proper tutorials previously written for your reference<\/em><\/p>\n

    Lastly, Check to see if what you’re doing works in your Analytics<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Go to http:\/\/analytics.google.com (This entry assumes that you have already set-up your Google Analytics tracking code site-wide)<\/em><\/p>\n

    For a quick check of my rankings sources and the top 10 keywords used to get to my site, I usually go to Traffic -> Overview<\/p>\n

    \"Google<\/a><\/p>\n

    This shows me what I need in a quick glance. The questions I’m asking myself is: Is my search traffic on the level that I want it to be? Since I am an SEO website, and SEO is basically my forte in generating traffic, my search traffic should always have the biggest chunk of the pie.<\/p>\n

    \"GA<\/a><\/p>\n

    If you’re doing SEO Copywriting right, that means that you’re probably ranking for a keyword with your desired amount of monthly searches. Check to see if someone really has used that search term and landed in your website.<\/p>\n

    \"Search<\/a><\/p>\n

    And if that person did land in your website, which page did he\/she land on? You can check this out by going to Traffic Sources -> Organic<\/p>\n

    \"Traffic<\/a><\/p>\n

    Then apply a Secondary Dimension -> Landing Page to the results.<\/p>\n

    \"Landing<\/a><\/p>\n

    Lastly, apply an advanced Filter<\/p>\n

    \"Advanced<\/a>Exclude all keywords (not provided) to clean out the\u00a0 results from those nasty, useless (not provided) terms.<\/p>\n

    \"Exclude<\/a><\/p>\n

    This will leave you with the landing pages people got on inside your website as well as the keywords they used.<\/p>\n

    \"Landing<\/a><\/p>\n

    Analytics is a powerful science behind SEO Copywriting. After checking out if your article is ranking for your target keywords, make sure to check if your keywords are really working to attract your target audience. Then move on to write other great articles and repeat the process.<\/p>\n
