I mean, it\u2019s not just the marketers who have something to with products, right? More often than not, products comes from netizens like you and me- people who immerse on a field and turn out to be an expert in it.<\/p>\n<p>Like what the famous blogger David Risley always say, &#8220;<em>Blogging is a business<\/em>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>You might just see yourself as a writer, but trust me, there\u2019s a lot of business stuff in store for you. Start with a product for one.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Core of Every Copy is\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>A story<\/em>. Look at yourself. <a title=\"Product Marketing\" href=\"https:\/\/seo-hacker.com\/marketing-products-site\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Look at your product<\/a>. Look at the people reading your content. There\u2019s a reason for it. There\u2019s always a core story that ties everything together. For instance, if you\u2019re a fitness blogger and you want to make a fitness ebook, ask your self this question- \u2018<em>why?<\/em>\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The answer to that is, viola, your story.<\/p>\n<p>Why is it essential to know the story? Because that\u2019s the best way for you to really connect with your audience. That\u2019s the best way for them to truly understand and see your product beyond the hype and the <a title=\"Internet Marketing Traps\" href=\"https:\/\/seo-hacker.com\/recognize-internet-marketing-traps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">countless promotional schemes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Focus on The Person <em>and<\/em> The Product <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You might have heard stories about people on the net being more dubious and careful about online purchases. It\u2019s true. But the moral is that it\u2019s not because they don\u2019t want to spend (humans are consumption animals I tell you), it\u2019s just because they are afraid of banking on trust. This may not necessarily be your fault (blame the scammers, the marketing liars etc.) though ultimately, you have to see to this as the biggest roadblock to overcome.<\/p>\n<p>So how do you get past the trust roadblock? It goes back again to the story.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Flow of The Story<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Always <em>start with the problem<\/em>. If you can\u2019t find a problem, then I don\u2019t see the point to having a product either. One thing you should note though is that you should never exaggerate (marketers are very fond of this). The more honest you are about it, the more a person will be able to relate it on his own.<\/p>\n<p>Follow up with the solution. It\u2019s as simple as that isn\u2019t it? You have a problem, and now you figured out something that you could be. The bulk of your copy though is going to have to face the challenge of answering <em>why your solution is the best out there<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Your would-be-buyer knows it, there are always options- options that doesn\u2019t necessarily involve shelling out money of buying at you. So tell that person, why it\u2019s going to be a loss if he\u2019s not going to take the plunge into your product.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s also the part where you\u2019d usually have to thrown in testimonials, special privileges, or discounts or whatever \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p><strong>Simply. Tell. The. Story. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This should be what\u2019s on your mind when you\u2019re writing the copy. Don\u2019t put yourself in the position of the <em>seller vs. the buyer<\/em> (that\u2019s just too impersonal). Put yourself in the position of the <em>person<\/em> talking to <em>another person<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Remember that if someone reads your copy, he is going to find it harder to connect if you\u2019re a approach is to a general public. That person reading your copy isn\u2019t going to <a title=\"Write for people, not search engines\" href=\"https:\/\/seo-hacker.com\/do-not-write-for-search-engines\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">care about other people<\/a>, he\u2019s only going to care of himself and how it personally relates to his own experience.
